Six Dollar fifty manFiction – New-Zealand – 2009 – 15 minutes Directors : Mark Albiston & Louis Sutherland The Six Dollar Fifty Man is the third short film which Mark & Louis collaborated, and the first which they officially put in scene together. Mark and Louis grew together in the small village of Raumati Beach located in New Zealand. It is there that they started to work together for a cabled television network. Then Louis turned in a school of dramatic art and Mark turned in a cinematographic school for developing their own competences of interpretation and realization. They acquired an experience of more than 15 years in this industry, and created a strong style from their many shared experiments. Mark and Louis currently work on a new scenario. Miracle Fish Fiction – Australia – 2009 – 18 minutes Director : Luke Doolan Luke Doolan's resume encompasses credits as a director, cinematographer, and editor, across music clips, commercials, shorts, and features. Luke has been co conceiving and editing for the last four years on Nash Edgerton’s shorts including SPIDER, LUCKY and FUEL, for which he won Best Editing at The St Kilda Film Festival, Australia. In addition to his short film collaborations with Nash, Luke edited David Michod's short film Crossbow, and Anthony Hayes' debut feature Ten Empty. Prize : AFI Award 2009 best short film 8 year old Joe has a birthday he'll never forget. His school friends tease him for lack of birthday gifts. Joe hides out in the school sick bay and falls asleep, wishing the everyone in the world would go away. He has directed and written for several TV series and stage shows. Café Paraíso has won awards at film festivals in Spain, Mexico, and Italy.
