Martin Luther accompanies his monastic superior of the Order of St. Augustine to Rome. Our hero is robbed among the ruins of the ancient world. Luther sets out, homeward bound, to spread the word of God among his ever growing band of followers.

He finds himself unwittingly in the middle of a war zone as a walking weapon, and so he has to take the challenge.
